May 17 was the World Telecom Day. There were 2 opposing viewpoints coming from Pakistan that day. One was from the Internet service providers who complained against PTCL and the other was from the Prime Minister who announced that 75% of the areas will be covered by high speed Internet by 2015. Can you believe this statement? Its just not plausible that we can get to 75% broadband penetration so fast, so why make these statements? And what about helping out with the current policy issues and the high rates?

I think 75% can be achieved easily……because of Wateen Telecom.
