Nokia’s Slim Phone N76

9 01 2007

WallStreet Journal reports Nokia is finally releasing a high-end slim phone to compete with Motorola’s much-imitated RAZR. Though the world’s largest maker of cellphones arrived late to the skinny party — it released a midrange slim phone in November — Nokia’s new N76 phone will come with some enticing bells and whistles.

The N76 uses the 3G standard for high-speed wireless connections, and includes a two-megapixel camera (offering more resolution than the 1.3 megapixels on Motorola’s RAZR phones). The phone also includes tools for capturing and editing videos.

Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo formally unveiled the phone during a presentation at Consumer Electornics Show in Las Vegas.
